The Rooftop at Pier 17 debuted its popular Seaport Concert Series in 2018, and since it’s attracted such superstar acts as Billie Eilish, Charli xcx, deadmau5, Diana Ross, Kings of Leon, Lainey Wilson, Noah Kahan, Ringo Starr, Tate McRae, The Fugees, and more.
With sweeping views of Lower Manhattan’s iconic skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge framing every performance, The Rooftop has become one of the city’s most breathtaking venues, redefining what a live music experience in New York can be. Artists and fans alike continue to rave — with some even hailing the venue as an “urban Red Rocks.”
Fast-forward to this year, the 2025 Seaport Concert Series hosted 62 total shows with over half of them sold out at its one-of-a-kind live atmosphere. For the upcoming 37th Annual Pollstar Awards, nominate The Rooftop at Pier 17 for Outdoor Concert Venue of The Year.

The Rooftop at Pier 17 wrapped its seventh annual concert series with consecutive sold out shows from Chance the Rapper, Jesse McCartney, sombr, and Royel Otis, the last of its shows hosted between May to October of this year. The lineup boasted two nights with Elderbrook to kick off summer, nights of non-stop dancing to high-energy tracks by Trombone Shorty and Uncle Waffles, fan singalongs to pop ballads with Jesse McCartney and Maren Morris, and breakout hometown performances from sombr featuring a surprise duet with Sam Smith. Fans experienced a wide variety of sounds, from electronic acts like Don Diablo and Illenium to indie and alt-rock favorites including The Kooks, Rob Thomas and 311, to Latin-influenced and dancehall from Kybba and Bresh, alongside multiple stop by country tours featuring Riley Green, Russell Dickerson, and Jessie Murph. The stage located five-stories above the East River, also hosted multiple tours celebrating milestone anniversaries and band reunions, giving their fans a chance to hear nostalgic hits from The Fray, Rilo Kiley, Supergrass, and Jack’s Mannequin.
